Melting is the process of a substance transitioning from a solid state to a liquid state. Some common real world examples include ice melting into water, or ice cream slowly becoming softer and more fluid with exposure to heat.

"Melting" Scenarios

Melting can apply a number of unusual situations:

• An elemental creature, food creature, or goo creature having a "melty" texture to them (drips, pooling), possibly while shifting from a solid to liquid form
• Transformation, where the process involves the character melting and reconstituting themselves in a new form or alternatively, becoming a goo creature, food creature, or turning into an inanimate, melty object
• Merging, where the characters involved melt into one another
• Vore, where an ingested character loses shape and turns into goo as they're digested by the stomach acid, with little gore or blood
• Melting can also be a part of absorption vore
