straight ally colors
The Ally Pride Flag is a horizontal triband of black and white behind a rainbow "A".
First appearing in the late 2000s and of an unknown origin, the flag is for people who are not a part of the LGBT+ community, but do support them (hence being "allies"). Straight allies are heterosexual or cisgender people who support equal civil rights, gender equality and LGBT+ social movements while challenging homophobia, transphobia, or any discrimination against the LGBT+ community or LGBT+ individuals.
On the flag design, the "A" is for "allies", its rainbow colors represent the LGBT+ community, and the horizontal black and white stripes represent the heterosexual/cisgender people.
