Text, numbers, or other symbols written or painted onto a character's butt. A subcategory of body writing, and may also involve bodypaint. Writing on the butt is one of the most common locations for body writing, it may be used to convey a message (a holiday greeting, or celebrating a milestone view count for the artist), or as a part of public use / humiliation situations, marking the amounts of times a character has been penetrated, or encouraging others to have sex with the character among other suggestive/explicit words or phrases. In some cases, the anus is used to stand for an "O" or zero.

Not to be confused with text on bottomwear, as this tag describes text written directly onto the surface of the buttocks.
