Species: echinozoan
Echinozoa are a subphylum of generally globose, flattened, or aberrant echinoderms which lack the characteristic arms of crinoids and Asterozoans, opting instead for derived tube feet and spines in their skin. The characteristic pentaradial symmetry of most other echinoderms is highly modified in this group, with Holothuria containing the most derived, nearly-bilateral body plans.
