Pokémon Berries (in Japanese: きのみ Kinomi, "Tree Fruit") are small, juicy and fleshy fruits. Like in the real world, a large variety exists in the Pokémon world, with a wide range of flavors and effects. All berries are some extend of spicy, dry, sweet, bitter, or sour; and provide the consumer in ways such as regaining health, healing from a status condition, changing stats, unique defenses in battle, and more.

Unlike human-made products such as potions, ethers, or other medicines, Pokémon are able to utilize berries at their discretion. Humans have incorporated berries into various cooking of food for them and their Pokémon, such as Poké blocks, Poffins, and curry.

The first ten berries were introduced in Generation Ⅱ with the introduction of held items, but were revamped for Generation Ⅲ with the addition of thirty-three more berries for recipes (not including e-Reader berries exclusive to Ruby and Sapphire). A further twenty-five have been added in the subsequent generations, not including variation of previous berries.
