Absorption vore describes methods of consumption where a character engulfs, merges with, or melts their prey into themselves. Absorption vore frequently involves goo creatures and slime.

Important Note
Absorption Vore is frequently misunderstood, this tag is intended for physical absorption as a method of consumption, not digestion after ingestion through an orifice or energy/life force/trait draining/stealing
This tag does not apply to soul vore, tail vore (particularly "Cell style" tail vore), or cum vore (digestion by cum), even if it's described as "being absorbed" by the predator
If the prey is ingested through an orifice (e.g. oral vore, anal vore) and digested, this should be tagged as digestion, even if this involves the pred transforming, tattooification of the prey, sentient fat, or rapid weight gain/expansion/growth

The prey may simply be assimilated by the predator's body, melting and disappearing into it, they may be entirely engulfed and appear to melt, or dissolve as if digested by acids. The prey character may transform into one of the predator's body parts (e.g. cock transformation), or cause rapid expansion of the body part they are absorbed by. Absorption vore can also cause the predator to change form, or take on traits of their prey.

Some subtypes of vore can cross over with absorption vore — for example, breast vore may fall under absorption vore if the prey is absorbed by physical contact with one or both of the predator's breasts, or is absorbed by being shoved into the predator's cleavage, rather than being consumed through the nipple ducts.
