alright this might be a dumb question, but why do people favorite more than upvote? the upvote button is higher than the favorite button

@Tortured_Torchic: upvotes can be negated with downvotes and are harder to keep track of.
So upvote is like small thumbs up, where favorite is like "I fucking love this shit so much" (and considering content here, sometimes literal shit)
