do we tag characters as their mythical race/species if they're present but the defining features of said lifeform aren't visible?

for instance Sylvanas in post 2228582 has her back turned, so one can't see that she's an undead/high elf/banshee (just realizing now how much like a bad OC she sounds lol gg Blizzard)

do the tags still apply even though her race is obscured? i'd assume yes and that's what i always see around the site, but i'm a bit unsure. tagged them anyway as of now
