IIRC, Sonic Battle was the first Sonic SPINOFF game I played, and Sonic Rush was the first "MAIN" game I played in the franchise.

I've been replaying Sonic Battle on my PS Vita through an emulator (I do own the game). Emerl is an interesting character.

Sonic X didn't have him around too long though...
