Keep your passwords in a text file on your computer, a separate device off the net, or on a laminated sheet of paper.
Not so hot on the first one, but the second and mostly third? Unironically a good idea. Sure the CEO might keep their username and password on a sticky note, but at least it is 20 characters long instead of "admin", "321drowssap". And if an attacker ever gets to see that sticky note? You have bigger issues at hand than the password.
