Question: Is it cowardly to hide your own comments everytime they go below negative enough in votes? Is it common to feel regret for commenting in the first place whenever this happens?

The most downvotes I've gotten in a post was 7, which was a reply to someone else where I point out that the artist of the post was on the conditional DNP list, which I thought would be perfectly fine but I guess it wasn't? Sometimes I don't understand why this happens, seemingly random things will strike a nerve.

hiding comments is so great. it's probably better to hide than letting it get more downvote
