@Dragonlord2328: the place I had it towed to seems pretty good. I don't know anything about my car, they probably could have told me I angered the machine spirit.
@Kemonophonic: that is how old my battery was, my car 16 years old now.

Great that it went relatively smoothly!
Going from place, to place to place always end up bad, saving no money in the long run; oil change place, tire place, big box store ... I will always recommend finding an auto shop that you trust and building a relationship up with them, just like having a family doctor.
