I worked a M-F 7.5-hour day shift, followed by a 4-hour night shift (and covered weekends for double-time here and there) for about a year before I was just too durned worn out ...

while it paid a bit better for that year, I was absolutely murdered on the taxes so it was barely worth it in the end.
