I remember when fuel prices hit $1.50/litre a few years ago up here in Canada, and people lost their shit and traded in all their Durangos and Yukons. Prices for well-used (I mean /old/) Geo Metros went thru the roof :/

Then it hit $1.60/litre the next summer.
