The Crosstrek can be equipped with a manual, but this = next to no towing capacity (and mandatory, gutless 2.0 engine) :(

2019+ RAV4 Adveture (or Trail edition for you hoseheads out there), or a 2020-21 Outback Onyx XT (or Outdoor XT for aforementioned hoseheads) are both on my shopping list,
for both ... acceptable ... AWD (the Subie needs a TORQ Locker rear, really, which is N/A just yet for this particular model) and something resembling towing capacity (3,500 lbs for both, with an add-on trans cooler for safety)
