Telegram gives me mega bad vibes tbh, especially with all of the blatantly illegal stuff you can accidentally stumble upon. I'm guessing the ideal thing to do is avoid anything public.

There's just as much blatantly illegal stuff happening on Discord and other platforms. I don't even really bother with the "groups/channel" feature in Telegram except for one very specific exception.
