Any currency featuring Queen Elizabeth II will of course remain legal tender; the (at least Canadian) trend would seem to follow having the new monarch's likeness featured on our $20 notes.
I can only hope that The Bank of England will keep Her Majesty's likeness on at least one banknote out of utmost respect.
