Nah... Better to upgrade anyways. I’ve had these for so long, I hadn’t been in touch with other modern headphones because my old ones were so good. I’ve relied on those for so many years.

I feel like an old fart…

I absolutely REFUSE to upgrade anything if I can help it. When you learn how electronics work, how to use a soldering iron effectively, it really opens your eyes how bullshit these companies really are. They want to warn you "Hey don't do this you'll void your warranty!" but the so called "warranty" is going to expire at the *exact* point of time the product fails these days. I completely ignore "non-user serviceable" warnings for the same reason, I know what I'm doing.

I've been resoldering the same headphones for years. The only time I bothered getting something new was a pair of earbuds just to not hurt my ears so badly.

Oh and don't even get me STARTED
On how unfixable they make products these days.
Like everyone and their mom could fix a ps3 controller, but dont you dare to try to fix a ps4/5 controller because you will be in a hell of a time
