How long does it normally take for people to draw?

???

(draw what?, how much training does the artist have, and what particular subfields of the visual arts (eg. fine art, animation, illustration) was that training undertaken in the context of ?, how much vision for this particular picture? what is the artist's particular workflow? what precise activities are you counting and not counting as 'time drawing'?)

All that can be said about your particular case is what IMO is obvious: 9 days worth of strokes are not evident.

Like, how long should a drawing like the one I made take to draw? Say, by someone who consistently draws in the same art style and has just under 2 years of experience but without formal art education?

I guess I shouldn't have said 9 days. It's more like 4 hours x 9 = 36 hours total. I will admit a lot of the time was spent on erasing and staring over, though I can't tell how much exactly.

The friend that I asked made this in an hour. He said this was after a month of practice, but he had some experience beforehand.
