How many years of practice does it take for the average person who knows nothing about art to be able to consistently draw something like, say, post #3959356 (contains vore) for about 8 hours total split within 2 days or less (because that's how long I took that picture)? I'm guessing two years, which I can still take. But if it's like "5 years and then you can start drawing whatever you want" I'll probably just quit. Like, I'm very impatient. I know it's only a week since I started to practice but not being able to draw anything really stresses me out. Right now my sketchbook is only lines I can't draw straight. I can't draw like I normally would without feeling guilt. According to two people my art is "good" but I didn't get there through the proper way everyone does it. And it's led to my slow ass operation. I really let drawing be my passion and I fucking suck at it.

Though, I'd still like to know the answer to my question, please. Be. Honest.
