Back when I lived with my mother, I got sick of resetting her passwords three times a week, so I made her a deal. She had to try to solve tech issues herself first. If she couldn't, then I'd help her, but her first resort shouldn't be to go grab me. It worked out very well.

I'd like to teach my little brother everything I know (since I'm self-taught on pretty much everything), but obviously, I can't force that on him.
