I mostly just look at the amount of favs and judge off that.

I made it up a bit, kinda. You see, it's like Twitter ratio: if it has a lot of favs and votes, it's probably a good post and most people are cool with it. If it has little votes or a lot of downvotes but also a lot of favs, it's probably a niche fetish that only some people enjoy.

Surprisingly, this post is the former (30 up, 10 down, 30 fav).
