This year marks 20 years since I recorded my very first demo tape (on cassette, which has never been digitised). I've been thinking about re-recording a few songs despite no longer owning most of the equipment I used to make it (My Ibanez SC420, Yamaha BBN5 and a freeware MIDI drum machine program on an old PowerBook).

I often wonder what happened to the first recordings I ever done. I know I always used to use the same tapes over again so my first attempts at songwriting were probably lost many years ago. I'd love to have the chance to listen to them now and see what they were like, I can barely remember them.
