i apologize if I'm misinterpreting you, but i think the main reason why people are bringing up cars and houses is to illustrate the buying power of 50K USD in relation to a 3 minute cocktease amv. nobody is saying verbalase should've bought a 50K car

hell, big cars are practically the first thing that comes to people's minds when you hear someone's gone broke on 1 stupid purchase. but at least with a big car you can brag about it and sell it; but in verbalase's case there was no bragging about it and no getting his money back (no shade to artists, of course, art should be payed for. but it should go without saying that you gotta be financially prepared for a comission)
