@Grab-n-Stash: I've been playing guitar since 1997. When I was in high school I did multiple performances in music class and school assembly. I wasn't part of the school band but I was in a few different bands with my friends.

I've got a few questions about the guitar. Would any of what you play in school be popular songs at the time? Is the guitar you play with from back then or a new one? If it's not when would the guitar need repairs or a replacement if the strings get worn down overtime? Is there a certain model of guitars you had that were more durable? Do you ever need to retune often/occasionaly? Did you ever play/consider playing an electric guitar? Am I throwing too many questions at you all at once?

I played a lot of alternative rock. Whether or not it was popular at the time is up for debate.

My current (and only) guitar is a Maton MS500 which was purchased in 2008.

Changing strings is pretty easy if you know what you're doing.

My Japanese made 1998 Ibanez SC420.

Do you ever need to retune often/occasionaly?

Yes.

Did you ever play/consider playing an electric guitar?

I have owned both acoustic and electric guitars.

Am I throwing too many questions at you all at once?

No.
