aw man, I'm just realizing that some of the emoticons I've made look all messed up on desktop because the sans serif font on Android has slightly different combining diacritics. specifically, this little guy: ʚ(ϵ⁰̴▿⁰ ̴)϶ looks terrible on desktop, the ▿ has a bunch of space on either side, the ~s are in entire different positions, and one of the ⁰s is a slightly different height.

I guess I should just not be using diacritics, which is super unfortunate... but that's not going to solve stuff like that triangle having a bunch of weird extra whitespace.
