I've noticed them mass hide a bunch of their comments and posts in the past, like they're trying to keep their post history tidy and clear. But this round did seem to be a high number of forum posts, including a number of first posts that hid whole threads (really need to fix that issue, where hiding the first post in a thread caused the whole thread to be hidden; if it's too difficult to keep the thread visible without the first post visible, then don't allow users to hide the first post).

there is currently a PR in the works to stop this happening with AIBURs, although I can see a reason to do the same with other threads.

I wonder if it'd be possible to let a user, like, "disown" a forum post rather than hide it depending on a few criteria.
