SONY does the same thing except with a serif font.
but at least there's no real ambiguity as to who it's for. better than having something like Patreon's current tiny inkstain logo that occasionally looks like a weird splotch on a character or the Epic Games Store's weird DS game cart-looking rectangle with text that is just completely unrecognizable when shown at the end of a trailer, y'know, just its most important application.
