Got a question. I had someone from the US army trying to recommend me to join during my job earlier today. This is the second time now I had an army recruiter bug me while I'm on the job (1st time was another store). I don't think I come across as anyone unique or special so I don't know why these guys are approaching me, so is it just them trying to recommend any average joe schmoe that seems young or strong/able bodied?

army recruiting effectively functions not much unlike an MLM. they're really just trying to grab anyone they can get; anyone dumb enough to fall for their pitch.
