Did anything he say about his experience seem as bad as or worse than mine? Big issue for me was the roads were foggy and had a hard time with getting a good visual for if I'm on/off my lane and using the higher brightness for my headlights made things worse.

just as a note, if someone reveals a person's full name in a random anecdote on the internet it's probably because they're talking about a fictional character.
