It just makes sense. Autofellatio and autocunnilingus are implicated to masturbation, so autorimming is the odd one out right now.

The one thing that could ruin this, I think, would be that several species clean themselves with their tongues, and what might be considered autorimming would be a part of that process, rather than part of masturbation. I don't know if that's significant enough to invalidate the implication though.
