Topic: Tag Alias: Spotted or Mottled?

spotted_penis <-> mottled_penis

As you can see, this is a weird one. Simply put, they're the same. Problem is, which one should be the default? Both are pretty accurate descriptions, but which one should be the standard?

Or, third option, just keep them separate. What's your take?

If I were to search spotted_penis, I would expecting a polka-dot pattern, or perhaps a cheetah whose spots just kept on going ...

'spotted' would suggest (semi) regular round markings, while 'mottled' can be irregular shapes and/or colours.

Having said that, perhaps it is best to leave the tags as they are, and do a spot of cleanup.

Spotted:

Mottled: (with less-correct tagging of spotted_penis)

While we ponder this conundrum, anyone fancy a bit of spotted dick?

(even the suggestive food supports leaving the tags as they are @.@)

I thought spotted_penis was a type of pudding.

You're thinking of spotted dick.

Anyway, yeah, different patterns. Spots are round, mottled is uneven.
