Aliasing character → invalid_tag
Link to aliasReason:
vague & unnecessary tag
Probably leftovers from when there was an original_character tag, and mis-tagged without the connective _underscore_
Perhaps this should be aliased to fan_character instead.
Another consequence of the missing underscore with the new tag, are images incorrectly tagged with fan; a large amount of ponies thrown in with cooling fans, rotary fans, ceiling fans, paper (handheld) fans, et.al.

Sigh. Yep, there's quite a few types. And I suspect that it might also occasionally get tagged for fan (person).
Looks like it needs to be disambiguated. There's already few images under folding_fan, ceiling_fan and hand_fan.

It may also be a mistake when trying to add a character tag (adding character character_name instead of character:character_name).
+1 for the alias.

I don't think theres much way around this one. If the character: prefix for changing tag types wasn't there we might be able to work with it, but with it we've just got too many variables to consider to alias it anywhere else.
Alias approved.
