Topic: Tag Implication: pictographics -> dialogue

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Implicating pictographics → dialogue
Link to implication

Reason:

The wiki says "The dialogue tag should be used to denote text which is being spoken aloud," but shouldn't all forms of speech be considered dialogue?

Also, when I tried to think of what to tag these posts with, before I discovered pictographics, I came up with symbolic_dialogue so maybe that could be an alias. And if you want to be extra thorough: symbol_dialogue, icon_dialogue, iconic_dialogue, pictographic_dialogue, picture_dialogue, pictogram_dialogue and pictograph_dialogue.

Regardless of the above, pictogram and pictographic should be aliased to pictographics.

EDIT: The tag implication pictographics -> dialogue (forum #170355) has been rejected by @Millcore.

+1. If we NEED to make a distinction, we could always create a written_dialogue tag.

I NEEDED T KNOW ABOUT THIS TAG SO MUCH THANK YOU. I've been using rebus_bubble (taken from tv tropes) until now.

>Looks it up
So THAT'S what that's called. :D

Arguably, not all pictographics would necessarily be dialogue, although rebus_bubble might work for when it is.
