Why do you do it? How do you have the ability to favourite literally tens of thousands of posts but not do any commenting, tagging, noting, etc. etc. It's the only thing you guys do! What do you even do with your favourites? I think it's just weird.

I remember when I noticed a dude that literally fav'd all of the posts on the front page, no matter how bad or good the quality. Almost every upload that came in was fav'd less than 30 secs upon uploading.

I usually tag stuff that I see...and comment if I feel like it.

There's been bots that do that. They copy posts and tags to their own board and mark the ones that have been copied as favorites (to keep track of them).

also i've noticed that some people favourite strange parts of a pool, like in the pool i'm uploading there are some favouriters that come and favourite one seemingly random post in the pool and just don't favourite any others.

Not that i'm complaining, but it's just weird, ya know?

Here's my advice: If you're going to upload stuff on this site, only leave it up long enough to get the traffic boost you would normally get to whatever other site you prefer, then take it down.

I used to do that but I suddenly got more silent. On the other hand, I have over 11,000 favs!

Just kidding, I've done a couple wiki edits: updating formatting (from HTML to DText) and fixing some typos (on tags too). I still do it sometimes. If you look at my stats, there are no 0s saying I haven't poked an area of this site

I guess most may dream to be Contributor instead, because unlimited uploads (your posts get approved automatically).

Also, the fact that I have hotkeys to fave and vote on posts has helped getting those counts high

It's better to comment and favorite at the artist's submission pages. That's why I believe providing a source (or several) for an image is very important.

I usually only favorite parts of a pool that I like by themselves. If I want to find the rest of the pool, well, that's sort of exactly what pools are for.

In all seriousness though, i just save all the pictures I like but if I can't find one I usually have a good enough memory of the picture to search for it

If there's a pool I really like, I favorite the first page so that I can just click on that in my favorites and then I don't have to search for the pool again or have the entire pool taking up a huge section of my favorites. Simple enough.

Other than that, people probably favorite 1 specific page in a pool because they can fap to that page but not the others.
Or they're weird.

Sometimes I favorite the page at which the sexy stuff starts to happen, which may seem random, being before the actual sexy bits (just the lead-up), but not actually the beginning of the comic either. Particularly relevant for comics that have a ton of buildup. It's nice to read on occasion, but sometimes I want to just get to the sexy bits with just the minimum required context.

Well the reason I don't do any tagging or noting is... well I never did it before and I don't want to fuck up the first time I try it.
Favouriting is easy and I don't have to worry about you folks hating me for messing up the tags.

Bit of a lurker, but I like this site's tag organization and... content. I do tag but not often. Commenting too, some of that. I like the favorites on here because you can organize your... favorites without it being on your computer drive. There is dropbox but I keep that separate.

I only favorite hilarious things or things I want to (occasionally) link around the site. Anything for fapping ends up in a private set with an easy to type Url (thanks to it being unique and only giving one result in my bookmarks). I also have another set for comics where I only put the very first page into the set, helps keeping everything organized.

I usually both favourite and up vote an image and almost never down vote.

I also comment to praise the artist for their work or up voting other people's comments if I agree with them.

not really, I do that pretty often. I only fav stuff that gets me going... well typically. There are a few types that I auto favorite unless it's God awful, isabelle, Nicole watterson, cream the rabbit for example.

When it comes to pools I fav my favorite parts...if the whole comics good I might favorite the first page and leave the rest if it's long, or attempt to favorite every page... but well when your doing two things at once adding a third can cause you to forget to do one of the other two :p

We need being able to fav pools then. Aight?

And while pools may seem homogenous to the OP, I usually find pools by tag search, and I usually end up in the middle of the pool. And this is the most likely part of the pool to become faved by me.

I frequent here, logged in or not, for 6yrs now. And i've made a literally few tag edits, and literally few comments, and maybe even one wiki edit.

It's okay. Not many do that too. Also, by checking your stats (in your user page) you have 6 tag edits so even if you didn't have any, just the fact that you don't any neutral or negative record means you've been a good boy.

As for the pool faving, I've done a thing that has a similar feature (that I have to update too :x )
