The new location of my quest to determine what is inside and what is outside, and sort them into sets for the Privileged+ to tag at their leisure.

As of right now, there are 3 projects underway: Project Vista (The originally named Project Outside), Project Sky, and Project Weather.

Project Vista (~nature ~beach ~field ~mountain -outside -inside): Community Sorting

Currently, I've done most of what I can for this project without tag scripts. All that's left is for the community to debate on the more ambiguous posts, in set #2395. When debating, please either use just post #1 form, or both thumbnail and post #1 form. Please do not use just the thumbnail. It makes it easier for me to edit the sets, as I apparently do not have a remove from set button on posts. No, I don't know why.

The tagging logic goes as follows:
set:tno : Tag with inside. Alert me to what you've tagged, so I can remove it from the set.
set:mno : Do not tag. Debate instead. I will personally tag it when we decide what to do with it.
~nature ~beach ~field ~mountain -outside -inside -set:tno -set:mno : Tag with outside. You do not need to notify me. This will clear out on its own. For Privileged+ only, due to being able to use more than six tags when searching. Members can join in by searching nature/beach/field/mountain -outside -inside -set:tno -set:mno. Choose one of the four, or two of the four, if you feel up to the task of mindlessly tagging 5-9 pages all by hand. Believe me, it's not easy.

Project Sky (sky -outside -inside): Planning

Currently, I'm busy with college stuff, so I won't get much done here until that happens. Got several assignments due at 5pm today, so college comes first, as much as I enjoy serving e621 by doing mindless, boring tagging projects. Hey, someone's gotta do it. Information on this will follow shortly.

Project Weather (~snow ~rain -outside -inside): Pending

If you have any more suggestions as to what needs sorting through, please suggest them here. Searches should contain -outside -inside, or at least one of the two.

I wouldn't use either inside or outside for that pic. I'd treat it (for the purpose of that pair of tag) as if it were an abstract or blank background.

Yeah, that's what someone else said, but abstract_background is more fitting to odd shapes. This is a beach background, so it's not very abstract. And I'd tag it with background, but it's aliased to invalid_background, which would make me look like an idiot. :/

That looks like a sea and cloudy sky to me, therefore it's not abstract.

I'd simply tag it as border + outside_border, except e621 doesn't actually have outside border tag. I'm too used to tagging that on other boorus, dunno what I'd use instead here.

I think border will suffice.

I'm going to be honest here: I think I bit off more than I can chew here. These are pretty large projects for someone who can't just tag it from the search and move on, especially when I need five different sets to make sure I don't get confused and remove things prematurely, or tag it with the wrong stuff. I think I need to start smaller.

That's alright. I went ahead and posted this project in the Tagging Projects thread. It'll get done eventually.

The background on the first one is so subtle I think I'd favor neither. I'd go with outside on the other two.

Based on the curvature of the igloo, I'd say the first is outside and the other two are inside.

Not sure about those others. I think we probably need more specific definitions for these tags.
