I'm more of a Nintendo systems gamer to be honest.
The only time I touched Steam was years ago, when they offered Portal as a free download.

Nintendo sucks, no PC ports of any of their games. Hope whatever dude replaces Iwata gives up on consoles and makes Nintendo a software only company.

Don't bring the whole PC master race BS into this thread please.

I'm just mad that I can't play splatoon or super smash bros with my friends because I refuse to pay for a piece of inferior hardware

Maybe, but you have to admit that Nintendo are capable of making some amazing stuff, even without the newest hardware.

DD is a really interesting idea. I usually play full roguelikes (eg DCSS, Brogue) only, but might make an exception for DD.. Once it has a Linux version -- which is planned, but not done yet.

hahahaha
Oh, you were serious, let me laugh harder at you.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ignoring Memeboy aside, I played Darkest Dungeon when it first arrived, enjoyed it enough, and am now waiting for it to be legit released before I go back. (unless it is and I missed the memo)

Darkest Dungeon indeed looks pretty cool, won't buy it until it's finished though so until then I'll get back to finishing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, another really sweet roguelike dungeon crawler.
Also on an unrelated note, I'd like to get some recommendations on what Roguelikes to buy/play that are not Dwarf Fortress, FTL and Risk of Rain.

The ones I listed (DCSS, Brogue) were intentionally that. Brogue is really pared down design wise.. I think I described it as a 'beautiful feat of design' once. DCSS is less spare design-wise but both are extremely fun to play. DCSS is pretty much the uncontested most popular RL as far as I can tell. Probably for lots of reasons but my favored explanation is that it's both extremely fair and rather merciless.
Both have good presentation. Darren Grey disputes that about Brogue, but most r/roguelikesers seem to consider it quite beautiful.
Like most games considered 'traditional RLs', there is no sound or music.
Be aware that RoR is generally considered a roguelite, meaning it has some rogueish elements but not the full complement. FTL and DF's roguelike vs roguelite status are also debated.
Just saying that by way of pointing out that none of them are really representative of what you'll get when you play a game that pretty much everyone agrees is roguelike.
You can see a bunch of RL's that are reasonably well regarded in the sidebar at /r/roguelikes ; I wouldn't personally suggest Nethack, Angband, DoomRL, Tales of Maj'eyal or UMoria, but otherwise most of them are worth a try.
Posting a thread describing your tastes and asking for recommendations in /r/roguelikes generally seems to work well too, btw.

I recommend Elona+.
It's a quirky Japanese tile-based roguelike. With numerous unusual features, such as fully modifiable player housing and businesses (museums, shops, farms, etc), extensive skill system, tameable monsters, marriage, crafting, gene engineering, etc. And since this is e621, I suppose I should mention that you can marry your pets. Dragons, dogs, little sisters, whatever you prefer.[/sup]Don't worry about the site being in Japanese. The game is 99.8% translated, you just have to switch the language setting to English from the main menu.

This is actually more crazy than it sounds.
(As are some of the quests you get)
Neither of them are my cup of tea personally (grind=:|), but anyone who likes Elona(+) might also like ADOM (which Elona was rather heavily inspired by).
