is was thinking if we can have sort of marker for when a new post comes in.or a white list where it tells you while your on the site or if your forum thread has a new post. what i mean is something like tumblr where it gives you a (1) on your tabs so its i like e621(1)

and how about a tag for a editor of pics for there contribution on the pic

The contributor tag thing would prove to be tricky... You couldn't alias a name to a contributor tag type definitively, because what if that person did their own art in addition to edits?
And tag subscriptions pretty much have the first thing covered.

If they did edits only, they would be tagged as a contributor, if they did edits and art they'd be tagged artist? But anyway, I think 'contributors' should just be marked as artists anyway.
