Topic: Omegle Trolling in Unmonitored Section

Posted under Off Topic

I wanted to go on Omegle and have fun with it, so armed with only ManyCam and Voxal Voice Changer, I went into the depths of the Unmonitored section and set things up so people masturbating would be met with my eyes and nose covering up the entire view and a demonic voice bellowing out "STOP MASTURBATING!".

Needless to say, I failed every time, but I did have fun. There was this one old guy, who was, yes, masturbating, and there was another guy that I elicited no reaction from. Upon inquiring, he was just super chill, and even asked me to jack off with him. I declined, mainly because I'm camera-shy.

There was a couple of people who sympathized with me, including this one girl that was like "Oh my god, yes, someone who understands!". You can see the deets here: http://logs.omegle.com/1ae0a96

Trolling? More like patrolling.

...True. I did run into some child porn, which I was about to protest against when it disconnected.

No option to report, AFAIK, and they would've disconnected too fast anyways.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't keep at least some sort of chat log for that exact reason.

There's a reason it's called "Unmonitored".

Just because it is unmonitored doesn't mean that they don't keep logs.

At the beginning of every chat, a record is made of the fact that a chat occurred between you and your chat partner. This record includes a timestamp, as well as IP address, ID cookie, and similar information for you and your chat partner. These records may be used for the purpose of tracking spammers, hackers, and others who pose harm to the site; and may also be used for law enforcement purposes; or analyzed in aggregate to produce statistical data (e.g., average number of chats started at different times of day). These records are typically stored for approximately 120 days.

How you would report such a thing I'm not 100% sure, but with a timestamp and your own IP address, you could easily find the chat at least.

Now, do they also have the video from the chat?

No idea. If they were wise they'd keep it for a few days then delete it on a rolling basis (unless it was reported). Being compliant with law enforcement even on a sketchy website helps keep them from getting shut down.

Are there any records of someone being banned in unmoderated chat? If so they probably keep a log for it.

Just recorded 30 minutes of me "orcing" on Omegle. It's like trolling, but instead of pissing people off, I make them feel better.

I go on the chat part and try to set people up on there to deliver killer punchlines and joke
