I don't really think that works out. "...a large explosion comsisting of a Fireball and a stalk-like vortex of hot air" vs "...visible mass of water droplets or frozen ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere..."

It probably gets tagged for anything cloud-like (cloud of smoke, cloud of poison, etc.), even though most of the ones tagged are in the atmosphere.

Here's a list of its definitions.

1. A visible collection of particles of water or ice suspended in the air, usually at an elevation above the earth's surface.
2. Any similar mass, especially of smoke or dust.
3. A dim or obscure area in something otherwise clear or transparent.
4. A patch or spot differing in color from the surrounding surface.
5. Anything that obscures or darkens something, or causes gloom, trouble, suspicion, disgrace, etc.

We have clouds of volcanic ash, gaseous clouds of toxic chemicals and acids a la Jupiter's and Venus' atmosphere, gases used in chemical warfare, etc.

It'd feel weird to tag posts such as this as cloud...

...but on the other hand, cloud isn't especially useful tag to begin with, so I don't mind either way.
