So, how do these work, how are these created?

I saw these pages before and got the general idea behind them. The only thing missing is the knowledge on how to materialize them.

I was thinking about a disambiguation page for the tag star, because I've seen multiple things tagged as as star:

 • Stars in the sky
 • Stars as a pattern on fur
 • Stars in eyes
 • Stars as a circling expressions (characters bumping into eachother for instance)
 • Stars on a background
 • Starfish

It uses two tabs to start with. First is Wiki -> New, and the other is just Tags. Enter in the start of your wiki page (or just copy-paste from another disambiguation and correct the words), then use the tags page to determine what tags are going to go into the disambiguation page. Set a * \[\[tag name goes here\]\] link for each Artist, Character, Copyright, and General tag that would fall under that disambiguation.

Once you finish up the disambiguation page, save it, and then suggest an alias for the most basic form of the tag to go to it. Other basic forms can be suggested under reasoning, and \[\[link\]\] to the disambiguation page.

Since you want star to be disambiguated, go to the following link to make the disambiguation page: star_(disambiguation)

Star is currently used as a catchall for all star-shaped things (plus actual stars, which are usually drawn more like, well, dots)[/sup], in the same way as other tags like <3. So I'm not sure if we need to disambiguate it, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to use the subtags more often. There's starry_sky, star_(marking), star_background, etc. But hardly anyone tags those.
