Topic: PSA: conditional_DNP got UNimplicated from avoid_posting

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

What the subject says, I went ahead and removed the implication from conditional_DNP to avoid_posting.

What does it do and why?

A lot of people apparently were confused that all conditional DNP material also got the avoid posting tag, leading to a lot of incorrect DNP flags, as well as concerns from artists that they didn't ask for full DNP. With this change we hope we'll be able to clear up some of the confusion.

Important to note, this does not change anything how both DNP versions are handled, the Avoid Posting List is still the official place for all information around DNP and it is not required to be familiar with the wiki of conditional_DNP at all.

If you have any question, feel free to ask them below.

I'd rather not. I only expanded the conditional_DNP wiki to give people some basic information on the thing.

Anything in regard to both types of DNP is only "official" on the Avoid Posting List itself.

So if there's anything that's conditional_DNP, the avoid_posting tag is to NOT go with it?

Basically, yes. There is never a reason why you would want to manually add either tag, it either gets added by the system or it's not supposed to be on the image.

Thank you, I would like to +1 you, but, not enough authority, or I don't know how to, so, butter (gold) star instead.

all what i need to know is how i can know a DNP cuz i post many DNP and it get Flaged and i get Neg Record , help me to know what i can find in the picture

Look for the signatures of artists on the avoid posting list. There is no guarantee that there will be any hint inside the image, though. So only upload if you know who the artist is and you know that the artist is not DNP.

I have a question: I have seen kokuhane's "Humanizing" the charcaters of We bare bears. Is it okay to post a screenshot of a scene of the cartoon next to his re-drawing of the scene (making the bears humans imitating the same scene form the cartoon).

No, on one side it's a screencap that we don't want and on the other side it's humans that we don't want.

Screenshots aren't hugely relevant to the site, and I would recommend against posting them. If the re-drawn image of the scene was furry-related, I'd say post a link to the original in the description, but the humanized image is unlikely to get approved (unless you mean animal_humanoid).

I see, then it can't be posted here. Thanks for clarifying that.
