So, I've decided that I wanted to change my username to "Arthur T. Forre," but for some reason the website won't let me. I go to my settings and type it down in the change username box then click "Submit Request" as I am supposed to. Then the site tells me that I'm not allowed to have a username with accented letters or a bunch of symbols or numbers. First off, I see people all over this website with usernames that have precisely that, so I don't see why I can't have one. Second, I wrote my username request in several variations, arthurTforre, Arthur_T._Forre, etc., and no matter what I try it still won't let me. Am I for some reason stuck with my first username? And if so, how come?!

I removed the period since, for some reason, that seemed to have caused some issues.

The removal of special characters and non-standard letters was relatively new. Names from before then were grandfathered, but if they ever change they have to follow new rules.
