Also, what about a volleyball disambiguation page? It refers to both the ball and the sport.

Or use beach ball for all volleyballs perhaps?
Then again, beach volleyball and indoor volleyball are two different types of volleyball, not just in location.

There's no beach volleyball tag either. Beach volley as far as I know, but it only has 3 posts attached.

+1. I had a spiel about American Football, Soccer, and the two balls used in them, but then I looked it up and there's a bit more to it than I thought.
Still, American Football is "Mostly" just Rugby with more armor, and there's also Australian Rules Football which, while similar to American Football and Rugby, has its own differences.

The Football page already tries to act as a disambiguation, but I'm guessing users don't realize it since it doesn't have the suffix.

This is a minor thing, but how about renaming the subtag to football_(soccer)? It's only called soccer in North America, rest of the world aren't exactly familiar with the word. Except maybe from sports games.

...I have to admit that I used to think for years that soccer is some football variant (like baseball/softball), instead of the same sports.

I think the site uses American terms where there's international controversy over what's what.

I've also approved:

I'm not sure if it's worth doing but it might be worth considering implying football_(disambiguation) to sport as well since...well, it'll never not be related to sports.

That page was set up pre-disambiguation tags. There's still a bunch of those laying around.
