I started working on patch* and patches* this morning, after noticing a patch (in that case on clothing) was an artist tag for some reason.

All the remaining patch_(character) posts should have patch_(ask-patch) instead, but I've hit the hourly tagging limit. If someone with mass tag editing ability could finish that part, that'd be super. (I don't like leaving a task half-finished, because I'm anal.)

First: THERE'S AN HOURLY LIMIT, AND I HAVEN'T HIT IT IN THE PAST?! Must be one large limit.

Secondly, would aliasing it be better? I can do it if needed, but not right this second.

I'm not sure whether that means "in the past 60 minutes" or if it resets on the hour. Seems to be past 60 minutes.

I don't think it should be aliased; there had been a couple of the 101 Dalmatians Patch in there (although mostly they're just in patch) and I'm sure there are or will be more characters named Patch in the foreseeable future.

edit: Never mind, finished that part up. There's still all of patch and patches to sort out so I'll probably hit the limit again :v

This also reminded me that anything with any character from Wuffle (the comic) tends to be tagged wuffle whether or not Wuffle (the character) is actually present.

I just created a copyright:wuffle_(comic) tag. Everything currently tagged wuffle should have it added, but then some of those posts should have wuffle removed (if it only has debbita or whatever).

It would be super if someone with mass tagging ability could add wuffle_(comic) to everything that currently has wuffle. I can do the second part if they don't want to.

For reference: patch and patches should be aliased(?) and disambiguated.

I don't have mass tagging powers, but I don't suffer from the limits so I fixed all wuffle posts, I decided on wuffle_(webcomic) instead, could always move that if not suitable.

However if wuffle is used for the webcomic it might be better to tag the comic as wuffle and the character as wuffle_(wuffle) (or possibly wuffle_(character), I don't remember what we decided was better).

chuck also needs to be disambiguated, I moved applicable chuck posts over to chuck_(wuffle))

The following implications would be useful:
