gold's just a shade of yellow. Alias it to yellow, I say.

Why is fur even a tag?

Same reason scales or skin colour are tags. People like seeing specific fur colours.

Or do you men the nondescript "fur" tag? That, I don't know.

hmm. We have scales, which should be ur-tag to all the coloured-scale variants, so why not keep them for the same purpose? I mean, if I want to search for a furred dragon, I could search "fur dragon solo", or for a scaled fox, "scales fox solo". I like it.

We already did get rid of skin a few months ago, so I suppose it'd be consistent to do the same to fur.

EDIT:

That'll still be possible even without the base fur or scales tags: seaching for "*_fur dragon solo" and "*_scales fox solo" gets just about the same results.

+1 to this.

I'm fifty fifty, and will revisit this topic of skin/fur/scale in terms of aliasing them or keeping them.

The thing I am going to do right now is make a color index

skin_colour, fur_colour, scale_colour as the tags? (minus the u for you non-British English folk)

Bump, was there any final decision ever made on this?

Also gold_fur needs to be aliased yellow_fur most entries are pretty much the same exact color and the unedited wikis themselves reflect that.
