There should be an implication to reflect this.

Ok, but why shouldn't they?

Having the tag for this specific feature is an easy way to search for it but removing the tag from posts that feature the straps would complicate the search. It would become necessary to search individually for each type of lingerie that could have them.

Garter straps are a popular and very distinct addition to different types of lingerie like teddiette or basque. Garter belts are just another type that features them. If we exclude garter_straps from posts with the garter_belt tag, does that mean we should try to keep consistency and exclude the tag from other lingerie that always has straps as well? That would make searching for it even more needlessly difficult.
