Topic: Way to hide spoiler thumbnails not remove from search.

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

I was looking at zootopia images and found some spoilers. I want to look at spoiler pictures after I've seen the media or know that my favorite artists are making something with spoilers but not see what it is. Is it possible to set my account to do this or use the e6 extend addon to do this?
Does this belong in the features request?

Those types of posts are supposed to be tagged with spoiler/spoilers so they can be blacklisted

They should but even if they were I might never see them because I don't even know something is being blacklisted out.

Blacklist it as zootopia spoiler to only avoid zootopia spoilers.

Thanks but my main problem is that I will get to the zootopia pictures later. I don't want them completely undetectable. Other filters just block the thumb and/or picture with something like spoilers/black listed.

Say I black list spoiler. When I look through a artist's work I might see 0 works in the worst case. If I don't want to see a movie then it doesn't matter if I see spoilers.

I guess it's not possible.

If your blacklist hides any image you will get a "Blacklisted X" below the search bar on the left. You can then click it and it'll show any line on your blacklist that has hidden something, click the line and the images get shown to you.

This should allow you to still judge how much art you're missing out on, and you can then try and judge from the thumbnail if it's worth clicking or not.

Thank you that is useful. I'll post in the feature requests about the thumbnail blocking since I think it's a little more obvious. A thumbnail of someone with a robot skeleton underneath or something would be perceptible in a spoiler thumb.

TIL that we even have a spoiler tag. o_O

Not that anyone really appears to use it, heh. Just 89 tagged posts.

Well, spoilers should only be tagged for so long anyways.
