I tried to suggest aliasing back to rear_view because they are both used to tag a character/characters viewed from behind but it won't let me for the reason: "back is already aliased to something."

The only thing I can find is that back_to_camera has been aliased to back. Could this be the problem?

Back is tagged for any image where someone's back is visible. Which isn't the same as rear_view.

It doesn't seem like an useful tag and probably should be removed like most other bodypart-tags, but rear_view is the wrong place to alias it.

Hmm, good point. You think it would be better of invalidated or is there a realistic way to alias it some other way?

I can't think of any good options besides invalidating or keeping it.

And by the way, you were right about why the alias didn't work: it's impossible to suggest an alias for tag that's already aliased.

Yeah, I agree that it doesn't really seem like a very useful tag, I can't really see any situation where someone would want to either search for or blacklist it (unless there's some kind of back-fetish I'm unaware of).

Placeholder made and bumping thread. I just did a mass edit to remove back from posts tagged rear_view (which will be finished in ~10 minutes or so) and moved the back_to_camera alias to rear_view, but if we can get this down to 0 posts, I'd be fine with invalidating it.
