Oh wow, I didn't know we didn't have a wiki for penis_slip.

My best guess is when the pants or underwears are slipping, and you can see the base of the penis, but it isn't fully exposed.

Probably penis version of a nipple slip due to "wardrobe malfunction." Or basically, some portion (any part) visible of the penis despite clothing worn that should cover it.

I'd say you can tag some of them with combinations of bulge, tenting and penis_slip. Depends on the picture.

Not poking_out and penis_slip though, those seem mutually exclusive since one refers to the tip and the other to the base.

Well, there are clear examples of poking_out mixed in there too: post #507601 post #589065 post #611172

A suggestion if we want them all:

• penis_slip: base of penis showing while (partially) dressed, as in too low hanging pants/underwear, currently very untidy.
• poking_out: tip (or more) of penis showing, over pants/underwear edge, along leg, etc
• penis_through_fly: specific poking_out term (already implicated)
• bulge
• vpl/camel_tail: penis outline clearly visible through clothing
• tenting: a pronounced bulge causing a "tent" in ones pants/underwear with the penis acting tent pole (not to be confused with tent).

Aliasing camel_tail -> vpl, might be interesting (as suggested above) however it might not be quite all right since camel_tail is a bit untidy at the moment, although it is probably a very minor issue.

I'm a little surprised that bulge hasn't more implied tags, makes me wonder if there's some issue I'm overlooking.

penis_slip, poking_out (and penis_through_fly) could all probably imply penis as well.

On a side not we also have the slightly related wardrobe_malfunction and the female version nipple_slip as well as nipple_bulge and camel_toe.

Maybe it's because of the name. Nipple_slip is tagged when the nipple is accidentally visible, so it's easy to assume that penis_slip should be tagged whenever any part of penis is peeking out. Not just the base. That's probably why it's such a mess.

But I can't come up with a better name...

It's currently tagged (in addition with penis_slip) with Barely_contained (a nice tag I wish I knew about) and wardrobe_malfunction (which I just added). Can we also agree it's almost certainly not appropriate for penis_slip?

And speaking of vpl (yet another tag I wish I knew about before!), should it be a subtype of bulge and implicate it or be a separate thing? I think implication may be a good idea to make it clear a vpl is not intending for tenting.

I don't want to get too involved with implications atm because I'm penis deep in aliases, but I've made a pending placeholder implication of penis_slip -> penis to ensure that this thread doesn't get lost in the noise.

My immediate thoughts:

• Overall, there are some great ideas in this thread.
• I like the idea of making direct implications to bulge (possibly including tenting).
• I prefer camel_tail over vpl because I feel like it's more descriptive, but a reverse alias would probably work just as well.
• I want to discuss deleting the erection -> penis implication as it tends to get tagged for questionable posts which should have erection_under_clothes/tenting. If we delete that implication, we could probably imply erection directly without problems.

Visible_penis_outline is probably the most descriptive. Both VPL and Camel Tail are somewhat obscure IMO.

Gee, y'know, I never even thought about even using erection when I tag tenting, but that makes a lot of sense.

I concur.
Camel_tail messes up the *_tail search (those are mostly tagged for actual tails, so the wildcard search is handy replacement for the tail tag), and VPL... sounds like a phone company.
